Alton Police Chief's Message
First I would like to welcome you to the Alton New Hampshire Police Website; we hope that you find it both helpful and informational.
It has always been my personal belief that Law Enforcement needs to be proactive in service delivery, to an end minimizing victimization. I also adhere to the idea that Community policing is not by definition a division or a “Monday through Friday day job,” it is a departmental philosophy that is embraced throughout an agency.
As our agency begins to stabilize we actively prepare for opportunities in the future through strategic planning. We as public servants here in Alton continuously strive to reach the highest levels of integrity and ethics while performing our day to day services to you.
We will need to be effective listeners and accurately hear and recognize what our citizens want and expect from us. We will need to be economically accountable and make certain that monies spent will be in the best interest of our community.
We pledge to the Town of Alton, NH to search for the best routes to solve issues not the easiest. We also profess to have a solid Law Enforcement team here in Alton in which to accomplish our mission.
