NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARING

As required by NH RSA 36-A:5 and 675:7,
The Alton Conservation Commission will hold two
PUBLIC HEARINGS
on Thursday, October 10, 2024, beginning at 6:00 pm
in the second floor meeting room, Town Hall,
1 Monument Square, Alton NH.

At that time, the Conservation Commission will hear public comments on its proposal to
withdraw $5,000 from the Conservation Fund
to support the acquisition by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust of a conservation easement on 59 acres of land off of Halls Hill Road, Map 4, lot 1-0-0, also known as Moonberry Farm.

Immediately following the Moonberry Farm hearing, the Conservation Commission will hear public comments on its proposal to
withdraw $75,000 from the Conservation Fund
to support the acquisition by the The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests of 375 acres of land off of Davis Road, Map 7, lot 15-0-0, also known as the Meinelt parcel.
