ALTON PLANNING BOARD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the ALTON PLANNING BOARD will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on WEDNESDAY, December 16, 2015 starting at 6:00 P.M. in the ALTON TOWN HALL, ALTON, NH to receive public input on proposed amendments to the Alton Zoning Ordinance. The proposed amendments to be discussed at this public hearing are summarized below. Copies of the full text are available from the Planning Department.
If inclement weather necessitates cancelling the public hearing, then the public hearing will be continued to a "snow date" of Thursday, December 17, 2015 starting at 6:00 P.M. in the ALTON TOWN HALL, ALTON, NH. A notice shall be posted on the front door of Town Hall announcing the meeting cancellation on December 16th and the continued meeting date on December 17th.

The Planning Board's Amendment No. 1 proposes to amend Article 200 Definitions to add definitions for terms pertaining to Child Care and amend Section 401 Permitted Uses – Table of Uses for Child Care Uses.

The Planning Board's Amendment No. 2 proposes to amend Article 300, Section 320 B. 2. b for nonconforming structures all located within the setbacks.

The Planning Board's Amendment No. 3 proposes to add a new Article 300, Section 336 Structures Destroyed by Fire or Other Natural Disaster.

The Planning Board's Amendment No. 4 proposes to amend ARTICLE 300, Section 327, Paragraph A. to add water wells to the items excluded from setback requirements.

The Planning Board's Amendment No. 5 proposes to amend ARTICLE 500, Section 550 Enforcement regarding the responsibilities of the Building Inspector.
