The Information Technology (IT) Department supports the Town’s technology infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient digital services for both municipal staff and the public.

What We Do

The IT Department is responsible for:

  • Network and System Management
    Maintaining the Town’s servers, network infrastructure, and workstations across departments.
  • Cybersecurity
    Protecting municipal systems and data through security monitoring, policy enforcement, and staff training.
  • Technical Support
    Providing day-to-day technical assistance to Town departments for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Email and Communication Systems
    Administering and securing internal communication platforms to ensure smooth operations.
  • Software and Systems Management
    Supporting and upgrading key software used for financials, permitting, records, and other municipal functions.
  • Website and Online Services
    Maintaining the Town’s website and ensuring public access to online resources and digital forms.
