Parks and Recreation Commission

The Alton Parks and Recreation Commission is composed of five community members, appointed by the Board of Selectmen.  The purpose of the Commission is to set policies, advise on needed parks and recreation programs, and plan, acquire, and develop recreation facilities, parks, and open spaces in order to meet future needs as the Town grows.  The Commission meets quarterly.  If you are interested in being a member or alternate, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 603-875-0109.
