Inclement Weather Conditions Emergency Support

Alton, NH — The Town of Alton reminds residents that emergency assistance is available during periods of inclement or severe weather conditions for individuals and families in need of immediate support.

Residents experiencing weather-related emergencies—including unsafe conditions, lack of cooling, lack of shelter, or other urgent situations—are urged to contact either the Alton Police Department or the Alton Fire Department for assistance. Both departments are prepared to respond and coordinate appropriate emergency services to help ensure public safety.

The Town encourages residents to check on vulnerable neighbors, including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those without adequate heating, cooling, or shelter, and to seek help promptly before conditions become dangerous.

For emergency assistance:

Always Call 911 for immediate danger or life-threatening situations

For non-emergency weather-related concerns, contact the Alton Police Department or Alton Fire Department directly.

The safety and well-being of Alton residents remains a top priority. Please take necessary precautions during inclement weather conditions and do not hesitate to reach out for help.
