Fuse Glass Ornament Workshop

Alton Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Art Escape for a Fused Glass Ornament Workshop on December 2, 2026, from 6:00PM- 7:30PM at the Pearson Road Community Center!

Create your own glass ornaments, perfect for your tree, gifting, or keep as a special keepsake. No experience needed, Art Escape’s instructors will walk you through the basics of glass fusing while you cut, arrange, and layer pieces of glass into your designs.

All materials and tools are included. You will receive a 4″x4″ tile, most create 3–5 ornaments (depending on size and design).

Your ornaments will be kiln-fired, wire loop embedded and ready for pickup in about 10 days at the Parks and Recreation Department.

Space is limited, register by November 23 to reserve your spot. Registration forms are available online and at the Parks and Recreation office. Please make checks payable to “Town of Alton”.
