INVITATION TO BID-2026 Rock & Asphalt Crushing
The Town of Alton is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the crushing and processing of approximately 5,000 cubic yards of stockpiled material at the Town’s Rines Road Pit. The material consists of excavated asphalt, concrete, brick, tailings, and miscellaneous aggregate materials.
The work will include processing material into 1½-inch crushed gravel and 1½-inch crushed stone. A pre-bid site visit is required prior to submitting a bid.
Sealed bids must be received by 2:00 PM on October 1, 2026, at the Town of Alton, 1 Monument Square, Alton, NH 03809. Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked “ROCK & ASPHALT CRUSHING BID – DO NOT OPEN.”
INVITATION TO BID 2026–2027 Winter Sand Supply
The Town of Alton is accepting sealed bids for the supply of approximately 2,000 tons of coarse washed winter sand for the 2026–2027 winter season. Bidders shall provide pricing for both Town pickup at the contractor’s pit and delivery to the Alton Highway Facility.
Sealed bids must be received by 2:00 PM on October 1, 2026, at the Town of Alton, 1 Monument Square, Alton, NH 03809. Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked “WINTER SAND BID – DO NOT OPEN.”
